MISBAH ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL , situated AT-TANGARANI, KEONJHAR SADAR, JHUMPURA, KEONJHAR and functioning in its own building embarked on its mission of moulding young minds in the year 2011 and run under nourishment of MISBAH EDUCATIONAL AND WELFARE SOCIETY, which is the funding agency. Character development with academic excellence has been the governing principles of all endeavour in the school with motto; "Education should be for life not for living". The relentless pursuit of the school has been to lay the foundation of a noble character of moral integrity, brotherhood, patriotism and sacrifice in the young minds so that they grow straight and strong as ideal leaders who can shape the destiny of the nation.

The school has a highly competent and dedicated team of teachers who are committed to the exemplars of values. Academic Orientation training in different subjects is arranged for all our teachers at state level and national level at regular intervals. The school works unitedly with parents to create and sustain loving and effective partnership to enrich and support student's character and learning. Parents meeting (PTM), parent's contact, parenting programme and study circle are arranged for the parents at regular intervals. There is a well equipped composite science laboratory of physics, chemistry and biology in our school , also a computer lab with latest softwares to provide a bright information technology for our kids and running projector for smart classes for online learning. There is a library in our school with adequate number of books. The library also subscribes to selected monthly journals and magazines apart from daily newspapers in English,hindi, odia languages. The school believes in national integration and follows an open admission policy purely on the basis of merit. It encourages enrollment of boys and girls irrespective of income, class, creed and religion with no reservation or preference for any particular community or religion. The school has students belonging to diverse religions group. Classes from Nursery to Std. VIII are running with 300 students having co- education system. The school is being affiliated to CBSE NEW DELHI very soon and is imparting education as per CBSE guidelines.
